Regards lybrate-user. Rheumatic fever occurs mostly in young age/childhood. Rheumatic fever could cause polyarthritis (that means joint pain and swelling of many joints). The pattern could be symmetrical in both sides and it could move from one joint to another. As the disease gets controlled, the joint pains will also reduce gradually. It is essential that one follows the recommendation of their physician through the course of medication for successful outcome.

Hello.
Honestly. I don't know what is the indication of egg membrane capsules in your cases. I am a rheumatologist and I have never seen anyone prescribe it. Please connect with your doctor and ask him if you have any concerns regarding that. You must take the medications hcqs and methotrexate as prescribed as these are basic drugs to control ra. Please also understand that these drugs need at least 6 weeks to act.

Like all autoimmune diseases, aosd has no permanent cure. However, with proper treatment it can definitely be managed such that you can lead a normal life. If left untreated, it can lead to permanent joint damage, and sometimes life threatening complications like mas or myocarditis. I strongly suggest that you consult with a rheumatologist for further management. Stopping steroids suddenly may be dangerous.

Lybrate user. As above you mentioned details joints cartilages are damaged. But don't worry first starts .put hot pack in your joints one by one nxt do some minimal movements. So you get some pain relief and some improve joint range. Finally consult physiotherapist / orthopedician at your area. No need to be worried about this.
